We're seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our expanding team. In this role, you will support customer needs, process orders, upsell products, and collaborate closely with our Outside Sales and Fulfillment teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
Locations: Stamford, CT, OR Hicksville, NY
Responsibilities:

Process and manage orders via phone, email, and CRM system

Proactively suggest related products and identify upselling opportunities

Assist outside sales with lead follow-up and project support

Create and follow up on quotes and proposals

Monitor inventory and provide updates to customers on deliveries or stock-outs

Maintain and update order and backorder reports

Navigate local/federal government portals for new opportunities

Provide feedback on competitive trends and customer activity
Qualifications:

High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred

2-4 years of inside sales experience (distribution or B2B sales preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/CRM tools a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Detail-oriented and customer-focused

Sales or Customer Service experience with government agencies preferred
