Originally named Westchester Industrial Supply Electronics (WISE), we provided quality parts and on-time delivery to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and electrical contractors alike. In 1975, we became incorporated and changed our name to Wise Components, Inc. In 1986, we helped the IBM Research Center create one of the first local area networks (LAN) by supplying all the cables, connectors and deployment components to make their innovative concept a reality. When manufacturing conditions changed in the late 80's and OEMs moved their plants overseas, we continued to deliver unmatched service and "Made in America" products no matter where our clients re-located. In the late 1990's-as the service industry evolved, so did we. We launched a dedicated website to offer tools, test equipment and data center components to customers around the globe.
